The presence of Texas A&M University-Commerce creates an atmosphere that places a high priority on education, including public education at Commerce ISD. As a result, approximately 80% of high school students attend college. Commerce and area residents have access to education and training in the immediate area from not only Texas A&M-Commerce, but Paris Junior College-Paris, PJC-Greenville & Sulphur Springs Technical Center. Both PJC and Texas State Technical College in Waco are available to provide customized training as needed. The 44 college and university campuses in the Dallas/Ft.
